WRITER. PRODUCER. STORYTELLER.

Dreux Dougall is a drama and sci-fi screenwriter hailing from Silver Spring, Maryland.

As a Guyanese-American, she grew up seeing the world from a different lens, and became an avid bookworm for fantasy, romance, and mystery novels.

Her love of books led her into the world of television writing, and soon after moving to LA, her pilot “In Pursuit” was selected as a quarter-finalist in the Fresh Voices Screenwriting Competition.

She has since had the opportunity to hone her storytelling skills in various writing rooms, including the HBO drama, Lovecraft Country, the Netflix comedy, The Upshaws, and Apple TV’s animated comedy, Central Park

In the unscripted world, she has served as the Content Producer for OWN Network’s Belle Collective, and Love & Marriage: Huntsville, and most recently as the Writer and Producer for One-X Studios, More Than That Podcast with Gia Peppers - a podcast dedicated to highlighting new voices in black excellence. Additionally, her short horror story, ‘The Soul Extractors’, was produced for the Something Scary Podcast

She is now a Writer on Spotify’s Conspiracy Theories and Unexplained Mysteries narrative podcasts.

She was also 1 out of 10 people selected for the Writers Assistant Network (WAN) Writers' Workshop and most recently as a semi-finalist in both the Collective 5 Entertainment’s Showrunner Mentorship Intensive and the Black Boy Writes Media Mentorship Initiative.

She is currently managed by Heroes and Villains Entertainment.
